Every long journey starts with a single turn of the wheel. For Merawat Coffee, that wheel was quite literal. Before we had our beautifully designed roasting facilities or our sunlit spaces in Arcamanik, we had a simple, humble coffee cart stationed faithfully at Juanda.
Those early mornings were defined by the hiss of the espresso machine cutting through the crisp dawn air, and the familiar faces of commuters who relied on us to kickstart their day. Juanda wasn't just a location; it was the birthplace of our community. We learned the names of our customers, their favorite orders, and the stories they carried with them before rushing off to work.
Growing Without Losing Our Roots
As we've grown from a single cart into multiple thriving spaces across the city, the lessons we learned at Juanda remain the cornerstone of our philosophy. We still believe that a cup of coffee is an invitation to pause, connect, and share a moment with someone else.
"The cart may have been small, but the community it built was massive. We carry that Juanda spirit into every new space we open."
Today, when you walk into any of our locations, we hope you feel that same sense of intimate hospitality. The wheels may no longer be turning on the pavement, but the heart of what we built at Juanda is still beating strong in every pour.
